ImageMetaCheck is an independent collection of browser-based tools for understanding image quality, metadata, location privacy, and print requirements before you publish or share a file.
How the tools work
Image dimensions come from the selected file. Print sizes are calculated by dividing pixel dimensions by the chosen PPI. EXIF and GPS details appear only when supported browser-side parsers can read them. Resizing, compression, metadata removal, and conversion run locally in your browser.
How to interpret results
A result describes the file you selected, not every copy of an image. Missing metadata means no supported readable field was found; it does not prove that metadata never existed or that another copy is clear. Print-size estimates also depend on the printer, paper, source quality, and viewing distance.
