Image files stay on your device

When you select a supported JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, or HEIF file, browser code reads or transforms it locally. ImageMetaCheck does not create a server-side copy of the selected file.

• Image binary data, filenames, embedded metadata, GPS coordinates, and analysis results are not included in ImageMetaCheck analytics requests.
• Generated downloads are created in your browser and remain under your control.
• Closing or refreshing the page clears the current on-page analysis.

Server requests and site analytics

Normal web requests can expose an IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp, and referrer to web-server and security logs. A site-operated analytics service hosted at admin.aicodelab.co.kr measures use of public pages without receiving selected image files or analysis results.

• Analytics may receive the page path and title, referrer host, browser language, screen width, and viewport width.
• Random visitor and session identifiers are stored in localStorage and sessionStorage. The analytics server stores HMAC-derived hashes rather than the raw identifiers.
• Device, browser, and operating-system categories may be derived from the user agent. Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control disables this site-operated analytics script.

Browser storage and cookies

The analytics visitor identifier remains in localStorage until you clear site data; the session identifier normally lasts for the browser session. Google AdSense and participating advertising providers may separately place or read cookies, use local storage, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to deliver, measure, secure, and personalize advertising where permitted.

Google AdSense and third-party advertising

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. Google-certified ad technology partners selected through AdSense may also process information for ad delivery and measurement.

Consent and privacy choices

Where required, a regional consent or opt-out message may ask you to accept, reject, or manage advertising purposes and providers. You may also turn off ad personalization in Google Ads Settings, block or clear cookies in your browser, and clear ImageMetaCheck site storage. When the Google consent interface is available, the control below lets you revisit your choices.

Retention and security

Raw site-analytics events and pseudonymous visitor or session hashes are retained for up to 90 days. Aggregate counts that do not contain those identifiers may be kept longer for trend reporting. Operational logs are kept as reasonably necessary for security and service reliability. Google and other advertising providers retain information under their own policies. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Policy changes

We may update this policy when site features, advertising providers, analytics practices, or legal requirements change. The revised date shown above identifies the current version. Nothing in this policy changes the local-only processing promise for selected image files unless that change is clearly disclosed before use.
