When to use this tool
Start here when you need one overview of a file before sharing or printing. Dimensions and file bytes describe this copy, while detected camera and GPS fields provide additional context. A filename may itself reveal a client name, address or project even after embedded metadata has been removed.
Worked example
Check an original, export a resized or cleaned copy, then open both in Image Comparison. Confirm that the output has the intended dimensions and that unwanted readable fields are absent. Do not infer success only from the filename or from an editor saying that the operation finished.
What to check before using the result
No detected metadata is a limited result, not a forensic certificate. This parser does not enumerate every XMP, IPTC or proprietary field. Location can also be visible in street signs, reflections or recognizable buildings. Review the image and the report before sharing either of them.
